Description

Pole dance conditioning as complex ritual and cooperative opportunity via cyber space.

Pole dance is going through progressive rifts, as most industries do over time. As a post-covid dancer, I’m curious about what the hell is going on. This is about a shared interest in interrogating the paradigms through which we evaluate our condition to pole dance as a way to make money & be artists.

Paying this fee is a shared burden between you and I, committing us to show up in material ways for each other in the post digital era of pole dance.  For us the studio is cyber space and the stages are virtual reality. I will focus on pole dance conditioning—what shapes the way we learn to pole dance and practice it.

The paradigm that I’m presenting about pole conditioning consists of these assumptions:

Pole dance conditioning is complex.

Pole dance conditioning is artistic.

Pole dance conditioning is a contextual rooted practice.

Pole dance conditioning is a skill sculpting practice.
