Preventing Plateaus. What Can You Do From A Pole Climb? Can You Climb in Clothes?

Some pole climbs visually suck because, they’re boring to me. Either they’re too classically clean, they look like they’re taking too much energy or it looks like someone is struggling to think about what’s next. OR, some pole climbs suffer because there’s not enough practice due to inaccessibility of skin because of the love to wear pants/bottoms and stay low to the ground. Yeah, I have something up my sleeve for that ass this May in Crack of Dawn Conditioning
If you didn’t catch the pole climb CDC’s in April, don’t trip. May incorporates and continues pole climb conditioning into polework transitions from the climb or “x-grip” position. As always we’re doing it floor to ceiling. You don’t need any prior introductions to pole climbing or the previous classes to drop in.
Starting Cinco de Mayo, Monday May the 5th—before getting full of sangria and tacos—spend your morning with me conditioning your body to do polework from the pole climb form. What is polework from a pole climb form? Transitional flexibility, mobility and motion like : rosebud pose, airwalks, rotational motion, hood ornament/backhook and pole sit poses
Through circuits of band contrology and big metal stick modules that challenge learning from floor to aerial, regardless of your aptitude, Crack of Dawn Conditioning enhances technique, endurance, coordination and consciousness simultaneously.
Crack of Dawn Conditioning is every Monday Morning at 7:30AM EDT (Atlanta, GA time). You can enroll both virtually and in-person.
- If you’re not a morning person, ease into a regimen of fighting the morning grogginess and get an infusion of energy
- Improve mobility, muscular engagement and endurance through guided practice and and appropriately challenging modules
- Develop a deeper understanding of your body’s capabilities and limitations, leading to better control and coordination.
- Maximize your time by getting your movement done so you have the rest of your day to accomplish other priorities.
